ICOF-CSU with its partner Colleges and Universities offer the following programs in leadership development both under and postgraduate Studies. PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: This undergraduate curriculum is designed to prepare students to respond to sustainable development and provided leadership in managing the developmental gender which aims to changing lives of the people. This Program will survey the development of the world and its continued expansion from the first to the 16th centuries. The program will also focus on some of the institutions such as United Nations, World Bank, International Monitory Fund and Aid, Foreign Investment and Development bearing in mind religious, political, economic and social landscapes of their day. By the end of the program, students should have a better understanding of leadership development studies as a major player on the world stage as well as the evolution of the concept of what it means to be a leader.

THE STRUCTURE DOCTOR OF PHILOSOPHY IN LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT < Qualification code 90026 >

The degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) is the University's principal research degree for graduate students and is available in all faculties and departments. A ICOF-CSU and its partner Universities PhD is intellectually demanding and students need to have a high level of attainment and motivation to pursue PhD program of advanced study and research. In most faculties a candidate is expected to have completed two years of postgraduate study, normally on a research preparation master's course or MPhil, prior to starting a PhD. Completion normally requires three or five years of study, or at least eight years of part-time study, including a probationary period. Terms of research are normally consecutive and, for distance students it’s a requirement to attend 14 days residential school for seminary presentation twice a year.

With ICOF-CSU and Its partner Universities various routes to the PhD are possible and PhD students are given such routes during admission with a clear condition as to whether a student require to study within set timeframe or design a compacted study of 12 areas of professional interest. In PhD study, student’s efforts are focused on writing a dissertation and the word count of the dissertation is dependent on the department and course supervisor or Educational Student Policy will be able to tell the maximum word limit. PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: The Doctor of Philosophy is the most advanced research degree in the Academy world and the program has a distinguished history and a distinctive scholarly ethos. The current study on Leadership development bring a creative, relational, and transformative edge to their scholarly work. The program consists of disciplinary and interdisciplinary coursework, comprehensive examinations, and a dissertation. This study on Leadership is supported by Graduate Division of development on doctoral study and research.

TUTORIALS ICOF-CSU and its partner Universities promote tutorial as an independent course of study which provide an opportunity for students to immerse in a particular research area for one semester with a faculty mentor who has expertise in that area of study. In tutorials, students meet periodically with the instructor—typically, once every week or every two weeks. The type and extent of the work expected for the tutorial varies from professor to professor. Students may only take one tutorial in any given semester and are limited to a total of two tutorials for the duration of their program as a way to fill a gap student knowledge in a particular coursework. Students who are behind in semester coursework or are still lacking in a particular area relevant research interests, use tutorial to cover up. To do a tutorial, students must fill out a Tutorial Petition Form. This form requires the submission of a completed syllabus for the proposed tutorial, indicating the schedule for meeting with the professor, the topics to be covered, and texts to be read, and written assignments. This form is approved by the Graduate Academic Standing Committee.
